Traitor's Love

“I have to tell you
something_______” Thor mumbled to his feet.

You looked up at him and fingered the
hem of your shirt. “What is it?” You asked.

He sighed and looked to you. “ I
have been seeing someone else.” He admitted, closing his eyes
and waiting for the blow. You stood in you place frozen in shock as
you tried to process the words.

Wait, he was done with you? You felt a
traitor tear slide down your cheek as you watched the man you loved
walk away slowly with another girl. She was ginger and much prettier
than you. You exhaled slowly and sat down on the bench behind you.
The tears came faster and you held your head in your hands. You
couldn't believe the nerve of him. He just said he was seeing someone
else and just left. He didn't even introduce you to the girl. You sat
on the bench in the middle of the park and cried. You were hurt and
he didn't even spare a passing glance.

You heard slow footsteps by the bench
and you looked up. You felt lucky that you weren't wearing any make
up. You looked up into the emerald eyes of Thor's brother, Loki. He
smiled down at you and sat down next to you.

“What has you upset?” He
asked looking at you. You sniffled and looked back at him.

“Your brother broke up with me.”
You muttered looking away and down at Loki's boots.

He snorted and muttered back in a low
voice, “ He didn't deserve a girl as sweet as you_______.”

You smiled and he returned the small
gesture.

“He walked off with that Black
Widow girl. I feel betrayed.” You said in anger staring past
Loki at the trees.

“They showed no affection
whatsoever for as long as I dated him and then all of a sudden he
just show a lot of interest in her. He must have a pair on him
because that must have taken a lot of nerve.” You growled to
your Converse. Loki shuffled beside you and you felt an arm around
your shoulder. You stiffened but grew fond of the warm touch. You
rested your head against his chest and he  rested his head on yours.
You suddenly felt this warm feeling inside. Your stomach fluttered as
you forgot all about Thor. Loki was holding you to the world, not
gravity. You had not felt this with Thor, it was all so strange to
you. Was it love? Were you in love with the brother of your new
enemy? The warm feeling held you as the cool New York breeze blew
over you. You liked it, a lot.

You fingered the open zipper of Loki's
jacket and sighed in pleasure. You felt him smile into your hair and
for the slightest moment, everything was perfect in every way. The
sky was blue with a few stray clouds, the crisp fall air blew around
you, you had your head rested on your enemy's chest but the feeling
was exquisite. You were pretty sure you loved him. The feeling had
only come once before but ended the next day. You shuddered thinking
about your past boyfriend and felt Loki tighten his grip on your
shoulder. You shifted so you were facing him and he smiled down on
you. You cocked you head to the side and smiled back. He smelled like
mint and a hint of hair spray. It was nice though.

He rested his lips on your forehead and
you both closed your eyes. He lifted his lips off and shifted down so
he could rest them on yours. When his lips touched yours, it was like
a spark shot between you two. Your lips fit together like two puzzle
pieces and seemed to meld together. His lips were soft and he was not
as rough as Thor. The kiss was gentle yet full of love and
compassion. When you both had to pull away for air, you gasped and
stared at his emerald eyes with love, that you had never felt before.

He opened his eyes and looked at you in
apology.

“I'm so sorry ________, I didn't
mean to do that, I guess I just couldn't hold it ba-.” he
stopped when you pulled him in for another kiss to shut him up.

“I take that as forgiveness?”
he asked when you pulled away again.

“Yeah.” you sighed an
leaned on his chest again.

“__________?”

“Yeah?”

“I love you.”

“I love you too, Loki.”
